Light & Sound – Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath
Sunday, October 20th
Sunday, November 17th
Sunday, December 29th
Doors open at 6 to get snuggled in. Event is 6:30-8pm.
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious Deep Sleep. In meditation, you remain in the waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and go on. However, in Yoga Nidra, you leave the Waking state, go past the Dreaming state, and go to Deep Sleep, yet remain awake. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. Yoga Nidra is far beyond just relaxation. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes it takes thousands of words to get the inner “aha” of the meaning.
This event will begin with body awareness to movement & breath. After settling into stillness in the comfort of a hammock or on your yoga mat, you will be guided into relaxation by a meditation of “a thousand words” through sound healing. On a night of the Waxing Moon in Capricorn, six days away from the next Harvest Full Moon, be prepared for deep rest.

Diwali, which for some also coincides with harvest and new year celebrations. Any religion welcome as we are celebrating the festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil, and light over darkness.
The word Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word deepavali, meaning “rows of lighted lamps”.
Houses, shops and public places are cleaned in preparation and decorated with small oil lamps called diyas. People also enjoy fireworks and sweets too….
Learn about DIWALI during this celebration provided by Aleece.
She will surround you with a glow of decorations and beauty, allowing you to steadily reset and renew yourself preparing for the change in seasons.
Sunset Yin yoga consists of hands-on adjustments by Aleece, bodywork practitioner, to get you deeper into relaxation.

Help Support our Goddess Project by donating feminine hygiene products at the studio, which will be donated to the local food pantry.
Did you know that girls and women in communities all across the United States are missing school and work because they simply can’t afford basic necessities like tampons and pads? These items are not covered by food stamps and some families are forced to cut back or choose other critical purchases. Pretty crazy, huh?
Because personal hygiene should not be a “luxury.” Period.
